Glasgow A380
EMIRATES HAS added a fifth UK Airbus A380 destination to its network. The upgraded Glasgow route is the first Scottish scheduled super jumbo service, with the type having landed in the city only once before.
Touching down shortly after 7.30pm on April 16, the airliner, A6-EOF (c/n 171), marked the start of six months during which the huge jet will connect Glasgow with Dubai on one of the carrier’s two daily links.
