Inspired by work carried out 50 years ago, Switzerland’s Dufour Aerospace stands out from other air transport types. Mark Broadbent reports.

New forms of air transport and new terms to describe them – be it urban air mobility or advanced air mobility – continue to emerge. There have been big investments and hundreds of orders for the various electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) platforms under development to fly passengers and cargo on intra-city, intercity and regional routes.
