Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, deep in the Arizona desert, was the scene for a three-week deployment training exercise for a pair of Royal Netherlands Air Force C-130Hs at the end of last year under Exercise ‘Desert Bull’.

AFTER A FOUR-DAY ferry flight from their home at Eindhoven, two Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) C-130Hs — serials G-988 and G-781 — arrived at their host base of MCAS Yuma on November 26. The transit across the Atlantic included fuel and rest stops at St Johns, Canada, and at Indianapolis and Phoenix in the US.
