Egilsstaðir Airport (BIEG) is the largest town in the east of Iceland. The area, known as Austurland (East Iceland), is characterised by small villages, dramatic coastlines, narrow fjords, waterfalls and mountains. The airport offers daily flights to Reykjavik with Icelandair and also serves as a diversion airport for Keflavík International Airport.
The package from ST Simulations is an authentic rendition of the actual airport with accurate runway, apron and taxiway markings. Airport buildings are modelled in detail, including the terminal and hangars. Other highlights include high-resolution Physically Based Rendering (PBR) textures throughout the airport with effects such as reflections.
