Emirates resumes flights to THIRD London airport

Gulf giant Emirates has resumed rotations to a third gateway serving the UK capital…

This came after Emirates Flight EK 65 touched down at London’s Stansted Airport on August 1 at 1320hrs local time.

It was flown by a General Electric GE90-equipped Boeing 777-300ER, A6-EQL (c/n 42360), which spent 7hrs 4mins airborne on the service from Dubai/International. Meanwhile, the return leg – EK 68 – departed Stansted the same day at 2146hrs on the return to the UAE.

Emirates’ rotations to Stansted will continue to be served by the 777-300ER – today’s sortie (August 2) for instance is being operated by the 2017-vintage widebody, A6-EQH (c/n 42353) – offering travellers First, Business and Economy options.
