Currently, 11 of these are in operational service after the loss of one in 2006. The Mi-35s equip the 2nd Platoon of the 240th Squadron at Andreas Papandreou Air Base near Paphos.

The Mi-35Ps built for Cyprus boast a unique configuration: shortened stub-wings, a non-retractable undercarriage and a GSh-2-30 30mm gun to the starboard, and interior and exterior lighting compatible with night-vision goggles (NVG).
