The head of one of the UK’s fastest-growing airlines has revealed her market forecast for the all-important summer season.
Speaking in an exclusive video interview series with Key.Aero, Marion Geoffroy, the managing director of Wizz Air UK, shared an upbeat assessment. She also disclosed how many extra jets will be deployed to cope with increased demand and confirmed when its long-awaited Cardiff base will launch.

With most airlines relying on the peak summer period to balance out less profitable parts of the year, operators at the UK and further afield are banking on a bumper season. Asked by Key Aero’s Thomas Haynes for a summer snapshot, Geoffroy said the trajectory is positive: “It looks good. Currently we have a fleet of 14 aircraft and that is going to increase to 19 this summer.
