OPERATIONAL TEST REPORT CRITICIZES SCHEDULES

SECRETARY OF THE Navy Ray Mabus took aim at joint military programs in January, singling out the F-35 as being slower, more costly, and lacking accountability because of its joint nature. He said that the US Navy’s sixth-generation fighter program, the F/A-XX, should not become a joint program for these reasons.
