The Luftwaffe’s Fighter Weapons School is becoming established at Laage air base in northeast Germany. Stefan Petersen discovered how the school provides demanding training for top Eurofighter pilots and support personnel.

Two-versus-two is the game plan for today. A pair of Luftwaffe Eurofighter EF2000s will be led by a Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) ‘undergraduate’ – as the course students are called – Hauptmann (Hptm/Capt) Steffen ‘H’.
