In the new update, several DCS: Flaming Cliffs aircraft have received new cockpit and exterior textures, including the F-15C, A-10A, Su-27, Su-33, and J-11. The Su-25 has also received new cockpit textures. These upgraded cockpits focus on detail and realism and include Physically Based Rendering (PBR) effects.

The goal is to improve the new user experience in DCS. To this end, the Flaming Cliffs 3 aircraft provide professional-level flight models but with simplified controls, resulting in a shallower learning curve for new virtual pilots. The F-15C, A-10A, Su-27, Su-33, J-11, MiG-29A, MiG-29S, and Su-25 provide a range from air superiority fighters and they come with a wealth of missions and campaigns and are operable on most online servers.

In other news, in an ongoing commitment to providing a seamless and streamlined experience for DCS customers, Eagle Dynamics has transitioned to a single-version approach, eliminating the distinction between Stable and Open Beta versions. This move ensures all players enjoy the latest features, updates and improvements simultaneously. You can upgrade to the single version by updating DCS World.

Notably included in this update is a performance improvement for various terrains, an impressive set of new liveries from Polychop for the DCS: SA-342 Gazelle, as well as improvements to the DCS: MB-339 flight and collision model by IndiaFoxtEcho. Several bug fixes have also been applied to the DCS: AH-64D, DCS: F-16C Viper and DCS: F/A-18C. More information is available on the Eagle Dynamics website.
