Just in case you’ve had your head in the sand for the past 45 years, Boeing developed the narrow-body twin jet airliner to supplement the shorter and less dense routes serviced by its 727 trijet, and to this day is one of the most recognised aircraft in the skies. That isn’t to say that it is the same aircraft that first flew in 1967 as we have seen a multitude of improvements and upgrades as time passed.
