Aerosoft’s EBBR Brussels Airport
In Part 1 of this series, we assessed Asobo’s KSEA and found it wanting. Then in Part 2, we explored FlyTampa’s CYYZ in Toronto, a beautiful product that made default airports pale by comparison. In Part 3 we arrived at EGKK, one of the major hubs for the UK. EGKK, Gatwick Airport, fell between the first two airports, but was generally a weak effort. Today we travel to Europe for EBBR, near Brussels in Belgium. A major European hub, in 2019 more than 26 million passengers arrived or departed here.
Airport-wide assessment
Much like CYYZ Pearson, EBBR shows us what is possible when a dedicated team utilizes all the new potential in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Let’s tour this new airport and then evaluate in light of the categories we established at the start: Imaging, Enhancements, and Realism.
