Fly the Maddog X Interview

In this interview, we spoke with Stefano Porrà from Leonardo SH to find out more about the company and Fly the Maddog X.

Fly the Maddog X is a highly realistic rendition of the real McDonnell Douglas MD-80 family aircraft.

For those of us who have been plying the skies in virtual airliners, Leonardo SH (LSH) needs little introduction. The company has established a reputation for developing a highly sophisticated and realistic version of the McDonnell Douglas MD-80. Initially released for FS2004 and FSX in 2006, the company returned to the flight simulation market with an updated version, Fly the Maddog X available for FSX and Prepar3D.

Leonardo was one of the first developers to include Physically Based Rendering (PBR) in its products.

PC Pilot: Hi Stefano and thank you for taking part in this interview. To start with, can you give us some background on the company?
