FlyBosnia Launches London Service

Bosnian start-up airline FlyBosnia made its inaugural flight from London Luton Airport to Sarajevo International on September 19 ahead of regular thrice-weekly services starting five days later. CEO Tarik Bilalbegović said: “FlyBosnia has ambitious plans for expansion and London is key for us, as our first European destination – other European cities will be following closely behind.” The airline, founded in 2017, operates two A319s and until now has concentrated on religious tourism to Saudi Arabia. The new service is the first and only direct flight to Sarajevo to operate from any UK airport in more than a decade.
