FlyTampa’s Corfu for X-Plane

One of the first Greek islands to embrace tourism

If you’re an X-Plane user, you’ll already be familiar with the almost unlimited number of freeware scenery packages that are available on the X-Plane forums.

Many of these are both detailed and accurate renditions of the airports or locations they depict. This is partly due to the design implementation adopted by X-Plane that makes use of hundreds of library files, which means designers don’t need to reinvent the wheel when making their scenery. As long as you have the required library files, the scenery will appear as the designer intended. This also means that these individual airport files can be a fraction of the size of those designed for FSX or Prepar3D (P3D). It’s worth mentioning that the libraries I’m referring to are produced by talented designers, who are generally quite skilled in the art of 3D design; creating them freely for the whole community.
