The new route comes as the low-cost airline announced a further 14 nonstop routes across North America and the Caribbean
Denver, Colorado based Frontier Airlines has announced a new non-stop service from Miami International to Memphis starting November 1 with the connection running three times weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The rotation joins the airline’s other routes to the southwest Tennessee city including Denver, Las Vegas and Orlando and will be serviced by the carrier’s fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft.
Pace Cooper, chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, said: “We are thrilled to see Frontier continue to expand at MEM. We expect that our passengers will welcome this low-cost option to a destination as popular as Miami.”
The airline also unveiled another 14 new nonstop routes including Denver to Los Cabos, Mexico, Jacksonville to San Juan, Puerto Rico and Miami to St Louis.
