Get-e ground transportation launches in Barbados

Get-e, the global ground transportation service for airline crew, is expanding its operations to Barbados for the first time.

Carriers using Get-e’s platform to book crew airport transfers receive one invoice each month with full visibility of costs, trips, travellers and pricing. All transfers are tracked via GPS and if there is a foreseen delay, a different driver is automatically dispatched. This aims to reduce administration time for crew managers and finance departments.

The company carried out an extensive selection process in Barbados, to find a supplier that would meet the Get-e health, safety and service level standards. The expansion into the Caribbean island means Get-e now operates in more than 110 countries around the world.

Alexander van Deudekom, CEO and founder at Get-e, said: “Expanding Get-e’s offering in the Caribbean shows the need for reliable, flexible and trusted ground transportation across the world and our ability to service airlines wherever the destination. We expect this to become particularly important as more carriers service additional and seasonal destinations to meet the anticipated demand in 2022.”
