Heatblur Simulation’s DCS:F-14A

A new update for the DCS Tomcat

In the summer of 2019, I reviewed the newly released, early access Heatblur F-14B Tomcat concluding with “this is truly one of the greatest simulation modules ever created for a PC flight simulator” before assigning the module the highest review score rating of my decade-long writing career with 97%. Over the span of the following year and a half, Heatblur has released multiple fixes and improvements as they simultaneously kept pace with core DCS World developments and continued to work towards bringing the promised F-14A into DCS World. In mid-November 2020, Heatblur released its late-model F-14A Tomcat into the wild. At the risk of maximum corniness – let’s ride into the danger zone!
