Scenery developer FSDreamTeam has announced KIAH Houston Intercontinental for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) is now available.

Located in Texas, Houston Intercontinental is one of North America's busiest aviation hubs, providing routes to domestic and international destinations. It is also the second-largest passenger hub for United Airlines.
The package from FSDreamTeam has meticulously crafted the actual airport based on 2023 data with details such as dynamic taxiway lights, including orange/green variations on taxiways intersecting runways. Terminal C has also been remodelled from the ground up with a detailed interior and texture upscaling using AI and manually converted to Physically Based Rendering (PBR). MSFS parallax shaders have been extensively used throughout the scenery to augment buildings without modelled interiors, resulting in a negligible performance impact.

The package also features comprehensive GSX Pro integration with over 1,500 custom pushback routes, 49 walk-in gates and 156 VGDS (Visual Docking Guidance System). All gates in Terminal C use the GSX 'Airport walkers' feature, enabling the visualisation of passengers inside the terminal and during the boarding/deboarding process. Moreover, a new door automation system has been introduced, ensuring all doors at Terminals B and C automatically open/close during GSX-enabled passenger boarding/deboarding. An information panel at each gate also display the GSX operation in progress.

Other highlights include accurate parking codes for AI aircraft, dynamic lights with a spread of hundreds of light sources across the airport and bridges and underpasses using the latest high-resolution terraforming technology. The Skyway Train is also animated for enhanced realism.
Houston Intercontinental is available on simMarket for € 11.99 (approx £9.60).
