How many airliners did top manufacturers deliver in 2020?

In part three of our Global Airline Report, we analyse the delivery figures from last year for the world's top six airliner manufacturers including Boeing, Airbus, ATR, COMAC, Embraer and Irkut

Having spent much of the past 18 months locked down and lost in the land of the living room, it’s difficult to know whether 2019 was two years ago or 20. Indeed, the dramatic drop in Boeing’s delivery digits from a record-breaking 806 in 2018 to less than 20% of that just a year later could never have been foreseen, especially in such a short space of time. With COVID-19 rubbing salt in the wounds of the Chicago-based aerospace giant, already fighting to get its 737 MAX jets recertificated and its 777X through flight tests, the company turned to the 787 Dreamliner to weather the storm.
