The Human Element

Virtual Fly

It is at events like the Flight Sim Show in Cosford and FlightSimExpo in the United States that one can truly appreciate the human element to flight simulation. It can be easy to forget when sitting behind screens and mountains of hardware that many people have an involvement in the creation of the products and services that make up our simulation experience.

In this first instalment of our new ‘The Human Element’ series, PC Pilot meets Pere Casellas, technical director and co-founder of Virtual Fly and Oscar Mateos, sales and marketing manager at Aircatglobal, the aeronautical group which owns it.

The Virtual Fly team are regulars at the likes of Flight Sim Show and FlightSimExpo.

PC Pilot: Thank you for agreeing to talk to us about Virtual Fly. I would like to start the interview by asking how your interest in aviation began.
