FlyByWire Simulations
In the third edition of our Human Element series, PC Pilot meets Will Pine from FlyByWire Simulations, the development group behind the increasingly popular A32NX project (read our review starting on page 18). The aim of the project is to create an improved version of the default Airbus A320neo for Microsoft Flight Simulator. In almost a year, the team of more than 150 volunteers has improved and updated the default aircraft so it now boasts added complexity and realism among the jet’s main features including the autopilot, avionics, systems modelling, sounds and textures. The best feature, however, is that it is a freeware add-on. To find out more about this project, we approached Will Pine, founder of FlyByWire Simulations, who kindly agreed to take part in the following interview.

PC Pilot: Hi Will, thanks for taking the time to talk with us. Could you begin by first telling us a little bit about yourself?
