Introducing HPG

Unless you’re a bit of a rotor head, you may not have come across HPG before. It kicked off in 2020 when Steve Daniels and Dave Amenta got together to produce some avionic add-ons for the Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) Icon A5. Brimming with enthusiasm, they decided to really raise the bar by developing a helicopter for MSFS. As mentioned in our HPG Hot Air Balloon review, starting on page 48, their freeware H135 project was a stunner and utilised a third-party freeware add-on – AirlandFS – to provide the correct helicopter physics to MSFS which until very recently has been lacking.
