Built from the ground up, the package is iFly’s most advanced study-level simulation for the home market, created by a team of 15 plus developers and with input from 737 MAX pilots and technical advisors.

The MAX is designed to take full advantage of the Prepar3D v5 platform to maximise the level of detail and performance. It sports a realistic and functional 3D cockpit and exterior model with high-definition textures and PBR effects throughout. Various animations include control surfaces, working APU doors, wing flex etc, along with a custom sound set recorded from a real aircraft.

The captain’s and first officer’s positions are fully simulated with high-definition displays and Flight Management Computers (FMCs) with full LNAV and VNAV functionality, winds aloft forecast, SIDS/STAR support and accurate cost index calculations, etc. A collimated HUD is also modelled using advanced rendering techniques in Prepar3D v5.

Custom liveries can be downloaded from the Flight1 website.
