It’s not often that you get to revisit an item you’ve previously covered and frankly for some products, this is a bad idea. An aircraft, for example, made in 2008 for FSX, would not come close to ‘cutting the mustard’ in 2019 - even comparing it in the same simulation.
However, sometimes it’s nice to go back and look at something, not because it has become dated but due to its growth and maturity. Infinite Flight, the mobile platform flight simulator, is just such a program.
I first looked at Infinite Flight in 2012. It was one of three apps I looked at for Our ’Flypad’ series. I summed up the app with the phrase: “Infinite Flight is a delicious guilty pleasure for all tablet owners”. It wasn’t hard to see why. The simulation was surprisingly featurerich and if you were travelling or just fancied a quick flight, you could be up in the air in moments. I awarded it 90% and apart from the occasional use that year, well, I pretty much forgot about it.
