Loading the FMC
Welcome back to our tutorial series featuring the iniBuild's Airbus A300-600R for X-Plane 11. So far, we've woken the aircraft up from its slumber, performed a walk-around to check the aircraft is okay, and confirmed our Zero Fuel Weight (ZFW) and other figures are all correct. It's the early 1990s, and eagle-eyed readers will note we're no longer at Berlin's Tegel, rather we're on a stand at Düsseldorf (more on this later). It's just after Christmas and we have a lot of slightly tipsy Germans looking to escape the cold winter for the warmer shores of La Palma in the Canary Islands. It's time to begin the process of programming the Flight Management Computer (FMC) and load our route for today's flight. First, let's look at the flight plan.
