Exploring Buffalo Niagara Airport

Exploring one of the oldest airports in the US

Ah, romance. The world is filled with the most romantic locations: Paris in the springtime, cherry blossom season in Japan and in North America, the beauty of Niagara Falls. This spectacular location has always drawn lovers and a huge tourist industry has grown up around the largest of the three falls that make up the Niagara Falls - Horseshoe Falls.

With the US and Canadian border running right through the centre of the river and the Falls themselves, getting there can prove interesting. Canada's nearest Airport is Toronto which is a 1hr 15min drive. The US however, spotted the potential early on, making use of nearby Buffalo. Buffalo Niagara Falls Airport is a mere 30-minute drive away and for Americans, doesn't require a passport to visit the Falls themselves, as long as you stay on the US side of the border.

Buffalo Niagara Airport is not just a gateway to a tourist hotspot and iniBuilds, via its iniScene brand, has produced a version of the titular airport for both X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12. So, come on as we shuffle off to Buffalo!
