Winfried Diekmann discusses Aerosoft’s past and future projects

A s part of our special feature on looking back over the past 12 months in the flight simulation industry and the year ahead, we invited Aerosoft’s CEO, Winfried Diekmann, to give us his opinions from his unique perspective.

PC Pilot: How has 2019 been for Aerosoft, and in terms of releases, what would you say were the highlights?
Aerosoft: It has been a difficult year in many respects; not commercially but things did not always work out as expected. The upheaval around Microsoft’s new simulator made things hard because many products take a long time to develop and we need stability. My personal highlights are Cologne-Bonn Airport, Lukla professional, the CRJ professional and A330 professional. I am also very happy with our new exclusive hardware acquisitions: the Honeycomb yoke and the Real Sim Gear products.
