Waking up in the city that never sleeps, I make my way a couple of blocks north to have a morning coffee with Bjørn Tore Larsen, chief executive of Norse Atlantic Airways. Despite the pressures of the previous few weeks, I find him in good spirits and enjoying the warmth of the midsummer Manhattan sunshine. Upon first impression, he is everything you’d expect from a modern Nordic airline CEO – but appearances can be deceptive.
