There are many great and interesting cities in the world, yet few with such a short history and so prominent or as easily recognizable as the subject of this review. If you consider many of the European capitals, they have buildings and architectural heritage that can stretch back many hundreds of years. In fact there are some sites in Asia that are able to look back thousands of years. A little snippet I was also unaware of is that from 1785 to 1790, it served as the capital of the US, now that distinction belongs to Washington DC.
