Analysis: Can Jet Airways make a 2022 comeback?

Once India's largest privately owner carrier, the collapse of Jet Airways continues to be felt within the nation's aviation sector. Siddharth Ganesh assesses whether the airline could make a comeback in 2022

Jet Airways had been facing turbulence for some time prior to its demise, the final nail in the coffin came in early 2019 as major stakeholders including Etihad Airways rejected emergency funding appeals. Boeing later cancelled the airline’s orders for 200 737 MAX aircraft and ten 787s before the ailing firm lost all of its airport slots. A messy ending to a once proud and promising company - but could it rise from the ashes this year?
