The aviation services firm has taken over Execujet's Zurich operations, as well as adding 17 aircraft to its European fleet
Basel-based company, Jet Aviation has announced that it has acquired ExecuJet’s Zurich FBO and Hangar operations, as well as Luxavitation’s Swiss aircraft management and charter division.
This means the firm now have added a second FBO terminal, two private ramps and two hangars to its Zurich network, alongside 17 aircraft to its European fleet.
“This acquisition creates significant value for our global customer base by further expanding our network and delivering innovative, world class standards in service and quality,” said David Paddock, Jet Aviation president. “It is an exciting step in our journey to be the leading partner in global flight.”
Stefan Benz, Jet Aviation’s SVP of regional operations in EMEA, added: “Acquisition of the ExecuJet FBO in Zurich enables us to offer a more comprehensive range of services — including hangar space for short and long-term private parking. For our charter customers, Luxaviation’s Swiss aircraft management and charter business significantly expands our fleet in Europe, offering even greater choice in meeting their varying requirements.”
The ExecuJet Zurich FBO consists of two hangars, one being 5,000m2 and the other 2,500m2. There are also private ramps, a 500m2 vehicle car park area and a multifunctional terminal.
