Kazakhstan signs for more Su-30SMs

Kazakhstan has agreed to buy an additional batch of 12 Su-30SM multirole fighters from Russia, according to Igor Kozhin, an aide of Russian President Vladimir Putin, responsible for supervising Russia’s foreign militarytechnical cooperation. He said that the new contract was inked at the Army 2017 exhibition in late August and deliveries will take three years. Currently, Kazakhstan flies six Su-30SMs; four were delivered in 2015 and two more in 2016.
