The last 12 months have seen some fascinating developments in the freighter world. Yes, there have been some bumps on the ascent – not least surrounding supply chain issues – but all indications are that annual growth of four per cent until at least 2040 will supercharge the prospects of the global air cargo business (see Airliner World December 2021).
