OnFinal Studio has announced Kirkenes Airport Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.
Kirkenes Airport (ENKR) is located in northeastern Norway beyond the arctic circle and offers challenging landings due to a steep approach gradient and high winds. Scandinavian Airlines and Norwegian Air Shuttle operate daily services to Oslo and Tromsø using Airbus A320s and Boeing 737s.
Widerøe also connects Kirkenes with various airports in the region, including Alta, Hammerfest, Mehamn, Båtsfjord and Berlevåg with its fleet of De Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprops.
The package for Microsoft Flight Simulator is an accurate rendition of the actual airport, including the newly extended runway. It also features detailed 3D models of all buildings, custom ground markings and objects around the airport.
Other highlights include PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures, authentic night lighting and corrected terrain around the airport.
Kirkenes Airport is available on simMarket for €14.39 (approx £12.50).
