JustSim has announced Linz Austria Blue Danube Airport (LOWL) version 2 is now available for Prepar3D version 4.4+.
Version 2 features updated AFCAD data along with GSX Ground Services compatibility. New ground polygons and 3D models have been compiled using the Prepar3D v4.4 SDK (Software Development Kit) to take advantage of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) and dynamic lighting. The airport buildings and terminal now come with detailed textures with shading and occlusion (texture baking).
The runways and taxiways have been updated with high-resolution textures, 3D lighting and realistic rain effects. Other highlights include animations such as birds, custom ground service vehicles and SODE windsocks.
More than 350km2 of the surrounding area is covered with photorealistic scenery, 7,500 manually placed autogen objects and automatic season changes. The package is AI traffic compatible and is optimised for high performance.
