Unique at every turn

Take a look around most general aviation airports and you’ll be faced with a huge range of primarily Cessna and Piper models. But it certainly wasn’t always that way with several GA aircraft manufacturers having ceased to exist or merged into new entities. This story starts with Giuseppe Bellanca who, between 1921 and his death in 1960, was responsible for a series of evolving aircraft companies including the Roos-Bellanca, Colombia and American Champion aircraft corporations. So successful were his manufacturing and design ideas, that the American Champion Xtreme Decathlon 8KCAB is still produced today.
