London City’s Remote Tower

On May 19 London City Airport announced that it will transition to a remote tower service in two years time, as part of the City Airport Development Programme. Why is its ATC moving to Hampshire, what is involved, and why might similiar changes occur at other airfields? Andy Martin visited Swanwick to find out more.
