• A MiG-29KR, operated by the Russian Navy’s 100th Independent Shipborne Fighter Aviation Regiment, crashed into the Mediterranean Sea while attempting to land on the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov on November 13. The carrier had been operating near the Syrian coast when the mishap occurred. The pilot ejected safely and was recovered.
