MiG-23 serial 26144 operated by the Libyan National Army (LNA) was shot down by Government of National Accord (GNA) forces on December 7. The fighter went down south of Tripoli near Al-Zawiya. The pilot reportedly ejected safely, but was captured by the GNA forces.

• Three crew members were killed when a UH-60L operated by the Minnesota National Guard’s C Company, 2nd Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment crashed just minutes after it departed from Army National Guard Aviation Support Facility at St Cloud Regional Airport on December 5. The crew was conducting a maintenance test flight when the Black Hawk went down at the edge of a wooded area near Kimball, around 20 miles (32.2 km) southwest of St Cloud.

• The pilot of an Egyptian MiG-29M ejected safely before the fighter crashed southwest of Alexandria, during a training flight on December 5.

• The pilot of an F-16C, assigned to the USAF’s 8th Fighter Wing’s 35th Fighter Squadron, suff ered minor injuries after ejecting from the aircraft while landing at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, on December 2. The fighter was apparently damaged in the incident, but not destroyed.
