In the world of general aviation there are dozens of aircraft to choose from, yet many of these were designed a long time ago and unfortunately are not very good at hiding that fact. With outdated styling, old fashioned instrumentation and an interior that would fit nicely into a ‘60s movie, they are not the most sought-after models. By contrast, this latest offering from Carenado has attributes that lifts it above these aircraft. I’m talking about Piper’s PA-46 500TP Malibu Meridian, which is a GA pilot’s dream machine.
