It has often been said that you can’t possibly learn to fly with a simulator, primarily because it’s not real enough. While that might have been true when talking about the simulators we’ve been using for the past 20 years, I think this release of Microsoft Flight Simulator (MFS) might just have cracked that particular nut. So in this article, I’m going to look at training, challenges, activities and the weather system provided in MFS to see what it has to offer.
