Microsoft Flight Simulator

The global preview event - Part 2

Microsoft surprised the industry following its announcement in mid-June that its longest-running franchise - Flight Simulator - would be making a return. PC Pilot was invited to the Global Launch Preview event in Seattle in September. In part two of his report, Thomas Haynes covers the rest of the product presentation but also talks in detail about his hands-on experience with the simulation.

The first item on the agenda for the preview event was a presentation which was delivered by various members of the Asobo Studio development team. Martial Bossard, Asobo Studio's co-founder and lead software engineer, took to the stage to speak about how the new simulator handled the cockpit element.
