Microsoft Flight Simulator - Sim Update VI Released

Asobo has released Sim Update VI for Microsoft Flight Simulator, adding a host of new features and fixes to the Microsoft Flight Simulator platform such as improved stability and performance.

Navigation data has been updated to AIRAC cycle 2110 as well as adding an up-to-date magnetic variation model. Other changes include better handling of DME arc approaches, offset localiser/LDA approaches and airway naming convention.

For the weather, wind gusts are now more accurate, ambient pressure modelling is now smoothly calculated across an entire air column and ATIS cloud layer reporting is improved.

Virtual Reality (VR) has received attention with fixed in-game menus, lighting and in-cockpit camera adjustments. General stability in VR mode is also improved.

Various bush trips and tutorials have been fixed and the online experience has been adjusted. For example, the status of friends online is now shown correctly.
