Darren Harbar reports from East Kirkby, where Avro Lancaster B.VII ‘Just Jane’ is receiving new paint and a thorough inspection as the return to flight project progresses

A minor setback caused by a shortage of paint may have delayed the initiative slightly, but staff at East Kirkby’s Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre (LAHC) remain confident their magnificent Avro Lancaster NX611 will be ready to taxi by May.
