I think we’ve established over the months that there are no typical Virtual Airlines. Each one I’ve looked at, going back to the first, Fly UK Virtual, has been unique. A VA truly can be found to suit everyone. For me, the virtual world offers a chance that you don’t get in real life, the chance to fly for an airline that is no longer with us. Online you occasionally hear a callsign for Pan Am or Monarch, despite the fact that their real-world counterparts are no longer flying.
