Precisely one month ago, a senseless and utterly barbaric war was started by Vladimir Putin. In the weeks since February 24, the Russian president has inflicted unthinkable suffering on the people of Ukraine, as well as crippling his own country’s standing within the international community. While paling into insignificance when compared to the humanitarian horror unfolding across Eastern Europe, the actions of the Kremlin have also had a monumental impact on global commercial aviation.
