The third and, under current planning, final multi-year procurement (MYP) programme for the Boeing-Bell V-22 Osprey tiltrotor is expected to be put in place before the end of 2017.

The seven-year MYP III will run from fiscal year (FY) 2018 to FY2024. This MYP will include 213 US and 17 Japanese MV-22B Ospreys, but is structured to incorporate potential orders from other export customers. At its completion, the US will have procured 360 MV-22Bs for the US Marine Corps; 53 CV-22Bs for the US Air Force (including two replacement aircraft); and 48 CMV-22Bs for the US Navy.
