Panavia Tornado: The Final Operators

In March 2019, the Royal Air Force (RAF) formally bid farewell to its remaining Panavia Tornado GR4/GR4A interdictor/strike aircraft. The UK was the first country to completely retire its fleet of the twin-engine, variable-geometry multi-role combat aircraft (MRCA), leaving Germany, Italy and Saudi Arabia as the type’s remaining operators.
