From Paramedic to Pilot

The decision to become a professional pilot is not one made easily and requires sizeable investment in time and money. Dominic Carroll reflects on his career change, and proves it’s never too late to pursue a job in aviation.

Sitting on the train on my way to ground school to attend my exit interview seems like a fitting opportunity to reflect on what has been a significant change in my career. I’ve just completed the last of 14 exams required to begin the flying phase of my Airline Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL) in Arizona.
